In Splatsville and the sun-drenched Splatlands, players can engage in splatty battles with other Inklings and Octolings, and discover features, weapons, and the trendiest gear of the season.
In Splatoon 3, Turf War Online* brings a colourful spectacle to both new and familiar stages, as teams of four battle it out to cover as much ground as possible with their ink. New footage has been revealed for a look at one of the new stages, Trout Viaduct, as well as footage of the Spanner, a new bow-shaped weapon type that allows players to fire ink both vertically and horizontally. The new trailer, Splatoon 3 – Turf War Extended Gameplay Footage (Nintendo Switch), shows off all of this footage, as well as some new gear and information.
In addition to the frantic four-on-four multiplayer battles, Splatoon 3 also features a fresh single-player campaign and a new version of the Salmon Run co-op mode. In the single-player story mode, players take control of Agent 3 as they battle the unruly Octarians and discover the secrets of Alterna and the Fluid Coat.
In Salmon Run mode, players can team up with others to try and defeat waves of dangerous Salmonid bosses, some of which are truly gigantic!
