The Subnautica + Subnautica: Below Zero bundle for Nintendo Switch contains two popular survival adventures in which you try to survive on the mysterious ocean planet 4546B . You explore gigantic underwater worlds full of strange life forms, hidden caves, and dangerous depths while gathering materials, building bases, and crafting vehicles.
In the original Subnautica, you crash on an alien water planet and must survive by gathering food, water, and technology while diving deeper and deeper into the ocean. In Below Zero, you return to the same planet, but this time in an icy region with new biomes, vehicles, creatures, and a stronger story.
The Switch version makes both games fully portable and contains the complete experiences on a single cartridge. Community reactions are mostly positive regarding the sense of exploration and excitement, although many players recommend saving regularly due to occasional crashes on older Switch hardware.
