God of War, unlike the former titles based on Greek mythology, this title is based on Norse mythology. The game is largely set in ancient Norway in the kingdom of Midgard, the realm of the people. Also new to the game is the presence of two protagonists: Kratos, and his young son Atreus. After the death of their wife and mother, the duo must travel to fulfill their last wish. Its as if to be strewn on the highest peak of the nine realms. Along the way, Kratos and Atreus encounter various monsters from Norse mythology.
